Met Swiss President Mr Johann Schneider-Ammann today. Many associate his country with chocolates, Alpine mountains and fine watches. But Switzerland also has a highly skilled workforce and well-developed system of vocational training. These are areas where we can learn from the Swiss.
So I am glad President Schneider-Ammann hosted a Switzerland-Singapore Business Forum on skills training and lifelong learning with DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam today. These conversations will go a long way in furthering our longstanding warm ties. - LHL
